Nature Walk 10/2/11

Here are a few shots from our nature walk yesterday at Teatown Lake reservation in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

Nice rock. Quartz, right?

Elf ladder.

Great day. Finally feels like fall.

Let's see ... no stripe in the middle means long winter? P.S. He bit my daughter!

  1. He bit your daughter? Did it hurt? The pictures are beautiful. Nothing better then a fall nature walk.

  2. Actually, it did hurt! It was like a little nip! And then I remembered that happened to me when I was a kid, and how surprising it is because they're so fuzzy and cute. They're like those cute, little creatures in Galaxy Quest.
